
Muhammad Ikhsan is a qualified Indonesian lawyer based in Jakarta. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Indonesia, majoring in Economic Law. His practice focuses on aviation, banking and finance, shipping, and general corporate matters.
Ikhsan started his career by working in several prominent law firms in Jakarta, both local and international firms, where he gained invaluable experience and expertise for more than a decade. In the course of his career, Ikhsan has represented many major companies, banks, financial institutions, and aircraft leasing companies in a wide range of aviation transactions, cross-border financing (including shipping financing in relation to various FSRUs and FPSOs), and other domestic and international transactions.
In one of the law firms he gained experience in, Ikhsan was a member of the aviation practice recognized by Asian-Mena Counsel as the Indonesian Aviation Firm of the Year for 2016, following a survey of 1,300 in-house counsels across Asia. He is also considered by clients “a skilled young lawyer” (The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, 2018) and was listed as ALB’s Rising Star Indonesia 2019.
Ikhsan is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia – PERADI) and the Indonesian Aviation Law Society (Masyarakat Hukum Udara).
